Praveen has mentioned his uncle's son Sandeep in the suicide note and has written that he will perform his last rites. Sandeep told that around 10-12 years ago Praveen had a factory in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. His tour and travel business was also flourishing. He had two flats, but the debt had increased a lot. This debt was around 15 to 20 crores. The bank had taken possession of Praveen's factory and flat, vehicles used in tour travel, everything.
Pressure of banks increased due to debt
Praveen earlier lived in Barwala near Hisar, but when the pressure of banks increased due to debt, he went to Uttarakhand with his family overnight. The family lived in the area of the Thana Cantt area of Dehradun for many years. Then on the advice of his father-in-law, he also lived in Kharar area of Mohali. He also stayed in his father-in-law's house for a few days. He was living a very poor life. His parents were ill. He had only one car left and that too was bought on loan. Police has revealed from deceased Praveen Mittal's acquaintance Gambhir Singh Negi that deceased Praveen Mittal used to run an NGO, but that too failed.
The family left the luxurious house and started living in the village
Due to this poverty, Praveen Mittal took a house on rent in Saketri village of Panchkula, whose rent was only 8 thousand. The family came to live here some time ago. The landlord Munish told that this family came to live on May 1. Praveen Mittal told that he used to live in Pinjore earlier but the children study in Chandigarh, so he has come to live here. His family was a very friendly family. The children were also very nice. Looking at the laughing and playing family, it never seemed that there would be a big crisis on them and he would take such a big step. Manish told that he had talked to Praveen on the phone in the morning, he had said that the children have a few days of vacation, so he is going for a trip with the family.
Panchkula DCP Crime Amit Dahiya said that we got information about this incident at 10:00 pm on Tuesday night. So far, the investigation seems to be a case of suicide. Two suicide notes have been found from the car. His social media account is being checked. The handwriting of the suicide note will be checked. Bank account will be checked.
41-year-old Praveen Mittal's wife's name was Reena Gupta (35). His mother was Bimla Devi and father was Deshraj Mittal. He had three children Hardik was 14 years old. While Dhruvika Mittal was 12 years old and Delissa was 9 years old. All of them were cremated together on Tuesday at the crematorium in Manimajra.
Towels were hanging on the car
A person named Puneet Rana in Sector 27 of Panchkula first saw Praveen's car around 10 pm. Towels were hanging all around his car. On looking into the car, people were seen unconscious on the back and front seats. Everyone had vomited on each other. Praveen was conscious till then, but his condition was also bad. Praveen told that he has returned from Baba Bageshwar Dhirendra Shastri's program in Panchkula.
