Mumbai: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, on Wednesday announced the schedule for the Common Entrance Test (CET) for the four-year integrated BA/BSc-BEd course for the academic year 2025–26. The examination is scheduled to be held on Sunday, July 20, 2025.

This move follows a directive from the Department of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra, based on a notification from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi.

The NCTE, in its public notice dated May 6, clarified that the current four-year integrated BA/BSc-BEd course will be discontinued from the academic year 2026–27. The programme is to be restructured into the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP), also a four-year course.

In view of this development, the Department has instructed the implementation of a 20 CET and a Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for admissions into the current four-year integrated course for the academic year 2025–26 alone.

Accordingly, the CET and subsequent CAP will be conducted by the State CET Cell, Mumbai. The online registration and application process for MAH BA/BSc-BEd CET 2025 will commence on June 2 and will conclude on June 15. Officials have made it clear that no further extension will be granted beyond this date.

A detailed schedule for the CAP will be released following the announcement of CET results. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official CET Cell website for updates and notifications.
