The Telangana connected Command and Control Center (TGICCC) system will be connected with the Road Transport Authority (RTA) database to provide real-time data accessibility for traffic enforcement.
At the moment of challan production, this integration will allow the automated extraction and presentation of important vehicle-related data immediately inside the current TGICCC system, including the validity of the Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate, insurance status, and registration details.
The Telangana Integrated Command and Control Centre (TGICCC) had a major coordination meeting on Wednesday. It was called by Transport Commissioner Surendra Mohan and TGICCC Director VB Kamalasan Reddy. Integrating the RTA database with the TGICCC system was the main goal of the talks.
It is anticipated that this real-time data synchronization would guarantee that all challans are issued based on current and verified information from the RTA database, expedite enforcement procedures, and drastically minimize human verification efforts. The transportation commissioner promised to send a committed team to help put the suggested automated challan system into place.
The efficient implementation of important Integrated Traffic Management System (ITMS) components was the subject of further meeting talks. These featured Variable Message Display Boards (VMBs), Public Addressing Systems (PAS), and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) systems.
The kinds and technical details of the cameras that TGICCC now uses, particularly their capacity for video analytics, were also examined.
A resolute action plan, including the deployment of a committed technical team, was the meeting’s takeaway. This group will be in charge of determining if integrating the RTA system with the TGICCC’s current infrastructure is feasible. To guarantee a smooth and successful integration, their assessment will include system compatibility, data exchange protocols, and any other technical needs. Along with other RTA officials and technological specialists, Joint Transport Commissioners Shiva Lingaiah and Chandra Shekhar Goud attended the conference.
