Mumbai, India (Maharashtra): The creators of the forthcoming movie “Metro…In Dino” have finally published the whole song “Zamaana Lage,” which they teased the fans with.
The song, which was written by poets Qaisar Ul Jafri and Sandeep Shrivastava and sung by Arijit Singh and Shashwat Singh, is about love and complicated urban relationships. It was composed by Pritam.
“Metro…In Dino” is the last installment of Anurag Basu’s trilogy of hyperlinked films, which also includes “Life in a… Metro” and “Ludo.” The movie, which has the support of producer Bhushan Kumar, presents a universe of contemporary relationships and love.
The song, which was written by Pritam, revives the artistic partnership between him and filmmaker Anurag Basu, who is renowned for creating enduring musical stories.
“With Qaisar Ul Jafri’s timeless poetry, we wanted to revive the ghazal as a form, not as nostalgia, but as something emotionally alive and relevant today, and bring it into the mainstream,” music director Pritam Chakraborty previously stated when discussing the song. We believed it didn’t always need to exist in a classical soundscape because of its vast history and ageless depth. A ghazal may retain its literary essence while becoming pop, with a contemporary melody and structure. With this song, we’ve attempted to recreate the ghazal for the current age.
Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, Neena Gupta, and Saswata Chatterjee are among the talented actors that appear in the song preview. ‘Metro In Dino’ is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in collaboration with Anurag Basu Productions Pvt. Ltd. The movie is scheduled to open on July 4, 2025.
