Actor Tamannaah Bhatia posted on her Instagram Story on how the social media site “likes” sites “on its own” in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
On Wednesday, Tamannaah posted a story with a photo of herself and added, “Can Instagram please figure out how it likes pages on its own, cause random people are making it news and I have work to do.”
According to reports, Tamannaah enjoyed an Instagram clip that included Deepika Padukone and addressed topics including sexism, the female wage gap, and unprofessional workplaces.
The ‘Odela 2’ actor’s tweet coincides with the recent controversy surrounding the film ‘Spirit’, which involves star Deepika Padukone and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
In the past, Virat Kohli was the subject of intense online discussion when a number of people saw that a post from an actress Avneet Kaur fan page had been liked by his verified Instagram account.
Later, to set the record straight, the famous cricket player sent a brief message on his Instagram Story. Without mentioning anybody, Kohli said in the article that the “like” seemed to be an error brought on by the “app’s algorithm” as he was “clearing his feed.”
“I want to make it clear that it seems like the algorithm could have inadvertently recorded an interaction while deleting my feed. It was done with no intention at all. Please refrain from making any erroneous assumptions. “I appreciate your understanding,” his Instagram Story said.
Filmmaker Vanga recently sparked rumors on social media with a scathing tweet that many people think is directed at an unidentified woman who previously appeared in his next movie “Spirit.” Many people think Vanga was referring to Deepika Padukone, who apparently left the project lately, even though he did not specifically mention anybody.
“When I narrate a story to an actor, I place 100 per cent faith,” Vanga said in a post uploaded on his official X profile, expressing his fury over a violated “unsaid NDA” and claimed violation of trust. We have an unspoken non-disclosure agreement (NDA). In doing so, however, you have ‘DISCLOSED’ who you are.
“Removing my tale and putting down a younger actor? Does your feminism include this? I have dedicated years of effort to my trade as a filmmaker, and filmmaking is everything to me. You missed it. You’re not going to receive it. You’ll never understand,” he said. The director did not reveal the name of the woman, but his statement that a “younger actor” will replace the female protagonist in “Spirit” is consistent with previous rumors about Deepika Padukone, who was originally paired alongside Prabhas in the movie.
Online rumors began to circulate in March 2025, stating that the narrative of “Spirit” had been revealed. Some of the rumors compared it to the Tamil movie “Theri.” Nevertheless, the source of the leak has not been confirmed, and there is no concrete proof that Padukone or any other actor was involved in the event.
Actress Triptii Dimri, who starred in Vanga’s popular film “Animal,” was announced by the film’s producers to portray the female protagonist in Spirit shortly after Deepika’s departure.
Vanga stated, “The female lead for my film is now official :-)” when she posted the news on Instagram. To show her appreciation, Triptii also posted on social media, writing, “I’m still taking it all in. I am very appreciative of being trusted with this trip. @sandeepreddy.vanga, thank you. I’m honored to share in your vision. Fans reacted enthusiastically to the news, with many expressing excitement about Dimri’s upcoming collaboration with Vanga and complimenting her prior performance. One of the most anticipated forthcoming movies with Prabhas in the main role is “Spirit,” which was directed by Vanga and produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures. Because of its well-known cast and the director’s previous successful picture, “Animal,” the movie has garnered a lot of interest.
