made a six-figure bet with Caroline Wozniacki on live TV after winning his first-round match at the . The three-time Grand Slam finalist sailed past Learner Tien in straight sets on Tuesday and will face Jesper De Jong in round two. He will be hoping to mount a title challenge in Paris, having finished as the runner-up in 2024.

Ahead of his meeting with De Jong, Zverev appeared on TNT Sports and showed off his limited edition watch. The timepiece, from Jacob and Co, features a roulette wheel on the face and is priced at a staggering £275,000. According to the website, the watch is 'a nod to the elegant gamblers and socialites that populated 1960s Monte Carlo, Macao or Las Vegas'.

Adam Lefkoe, the presenter, was in awe of Zverev's watch and said: "I'm having a hard time focusing because he's wearing one of the coolest watches I've ever seen in person in my entire life."

To the surprise of everyone in the studio, the German offered to put his luxury watch on the line in a game of roulette. He replied: "Want to play roulette? Tell me a number. If someone gets the right number, they're getting my watch."

Wozniacki was among those to call out a number with Chris Eubanks, Sam Querry and Lefkoe following suit. Luckily for Zverev, nobody guessed correctly which meant he was able to keep the watch on his wrist.

It comes after Zverev was brutally labelled a 'p****' over his comments about Lorenzo Musetti following their recent Italian Open clash. He accused Musetti of relying too heavily on his defence while also complaining about the heavy balls in use.

Rennae Stubbs, who previously coached Serena Williams, was having none of it and fired back at Zverev on her podcast. In no uncertain terms, she accused him of being even more defensive with his forehand than Musetti.

"No man, your forehand, you are a bigger pusher [than Musetti] on that shot," said Stubbs. "You hate playing Musetti because he slices to your forehand and you are 17 feet tall. You can't get underneath it and you are a p**** when you don't go for it.

"That is why you are never going to be a great player. I mean, you are a great player, but you are never going to win a Grand Slam if you're going to complain about the balls.

"When was the last time Rafael Nadal or Roger Federer or Novak Djokovic complained about the balls? Like, what?"
