Flooding on the M66 has 'partially blocked' the road creating a serious build-up of traffic. Drivers were stopped on the road in Greater Manchester at 7.10am this morning (May 29).

The road is partially blocked with delays in the area from junction one at Ramsbottom to where the road meets the A34. It's one of two major roads in Manchester affected by flooding. The A34 is closed in both directions near to Alderley Edge, between the Alderley Road and Congleton Road roundabouts.
