The K-drama 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' has captured the hearts of audiences globally in 2025, establishing itself as a fan favorite. Park Bo-gum, who played the lead role, is generating buzz with his upcoming series 'Good Boy.' In a recent conversation, he shared insights about his new film, expressed his admiration for his Indian fans, and discussed the potential of participating in an Indian production.


During an interview, he conveyed his affection for India and his eagerness to work in an Indian film. He stated, "If the opportunity arises, I would be thrilled to visit India for a project, or perhaps even a musical. If that occurs, I would love to collaborate with my co-star Sang Yi from Good Boy, which would bring me great joy."


Reflecting on his role in the Korean wave, Park Bo-gum noted, "Previously, K-dramas tackled fewer diverse themes compared to what we see now. Thanks to streaming platforms, we now enjoy a wide array of K-dramas that delve into various subjects and genres. 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' tells the story of Ae Sun and Yang Gwan-sik, chronicling their journey of love, marriage, and parenthood across different timelines. The narrative progresses to focus on their children, particularly in volumes three and four, which center on Yang Geum-myeong, Ae Sun’s daughter, as she navigates first love, heartbreak, and marriage.


The series, released in four volumes, has received an overwhelmingly positive response from viewers. It features a talented cast, including IU, Moon So-ri, and Park Hae-joon, and is directed by Kim Won-seok with a script by Lim Sang-choon.
