Talking to DT Next, his nephew said that Rajesh started having low blood pressure problems from Thursday morning. He was rushed to the hospital, but died on the way. He is survived by daughter Divya and son Deepak. Deepak started acting in films in 2014. Rajesh’s wife Joan Sylvia Vanthiriar died in 2012.

Actor Rajinikanth expressed grief over the death of actor Rajesh. He wrote on social media that he was deeply saddened to hear the news of the sudden death of his close friend. On Thursday, Rajinikanth wrote in Tamil on his X account, “I am deeply shocked and sad to hear the news of the sudden demise of my friend Rajesh. He was a very good person. May his soul be peaceful. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.” Rajesh and Rajinikanth have worked together in films like ‘Thai Vidu’, ‘Billa’ and ‘Thanikattu Raja’.

Rajesh Williams’ career
Rajesh was born to Mannargudi, Williams Nutter and Lily Grace Mandher in Thiruvarur. From 1972 to 1979, he worked as a teacher in a high school. He made his film debut in 1974 with a small role in the film Aval Oru Aval Oru Thodar Kathai. He got the first lead role in the 1979 film Kanni Paruvatile.

He also acted in the 1984 famous film ‘Achmillai Achmillai’, directed by K.K. Balchander did it. Apart from this, Rajesh also worked in the TV show Micro Thodargal-Azhukku Wetty and recently Kartigai Deepam. He was last seen in the role of ‘Yaadoom Uncle’ in Vijay Sethupati and Katrina Kaif’s film ‘Meri Christmas’. Apart from films, Rajesh was also associated with the hotel and real estate business and he was counted among the famous builders in Chennai.
