The Mahesh Babu starrer Khalejawhich will officially have a massive-scale re-release tomorrow, has led to great frenzy among the actor’s fan clubs whose enthusiasm reflected in the advance figures registered at the box office. However, it appears the fans are in for a disappointment as reports of a butchered re-release 4K print have been doing the rounds.

Many videos have been circulating on the internet, from the special premiere shows held on Thursday, where fans can be seen outraging at the venue at the missing scenes and songs from the version that’s been played in the re-release run. One of these videos is from popular Hyderabad theatre Sudarshan, where theatre staff is clarifying that they are running the print as received and haven’t made any changes on their end.

Another video from Guntur has cine-goers stopping the screening and complaining to the theatre officials, while one of the attendees is trying to explain the technicalities to fellow audience members. The makers of Khaleja and the distributors are yet to officially respond to the controversy.
