Sooraj Pancholi is busy with the promotions of his new film, Kesari Veer. During a podcast interview he bluntly unleashed that actors pay a handsome amount to appear on top performing podcasts. The actor added that he had been approached with such an offer, however he declined it.

Sooraj claimed actors pay hefty amount to appear on podcasts

In a podcast episode of Hindi Rush, Sooraj stated, “I have heard that there are a few actors who charge about ₹30 lakh to do a podcast. Is this true? I am just wanting to know because I have come here for free. Pay me at least ₹30,000.”

However, the podcasters chuckled and mentioned that the situation have now transformed for the better. Sooraj added, “Yes, I have heard that too, that the podcasters who have good viewership charge ₹30 lakh to get you on their podcast. I have received such offer too. But it makes sense as they give you viewership. They have put immense hard work to grow their page so I think why not.”

The actor debuted in the industry with Hero featuring Athiya Shetty in 2015. The actor bagged the Filmfare award for best newcomer of the year. He was then in Satellite Shankar in 2019 with actor Megha Akash. Thereafter he starred in Time to Dance, alongside Isabelle Kaif, Katrina Kaif’s sister.

Sooraj recently starred in the historical action drama Kesari Veer, helmed by Prince Dhiman. The ensemble included Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, Barkha Bisht, Aruna Irani, and Akanksha Sharma in pivotal roles. The film was released on May 23.
