Manchu Vishnu’s much -awaited mythological epic Kannappa is facing a major obstacle. As the film is getting ready for release, a shocking incident has put the team in trouble – an important hard drive with important scenes of the film allegedly stolen.

According to sources, the hard drive sent by the Mumbai -based VFX team was allegedly taken by an office boy working on the film. He is said to have handed it over to a woman named Charitha, who has been missing ever since. After this theft incident, the team has filed a formal police complaint in the Film Nagar Police and now investigation is going on.

This is not the first blow for Kannappa. Earlier, Prabhas’s look from the film was leaked online, allegedly by someone in the crew. The person was immediately removed from the team. There are several important scenes in the alleged stolen hard drive, which has led to a serious violation. Despite these obstacles, Vishnu is firm. After years of investing in the film, they are currently busy in post-production and promotion. His recent public presence and media conversation underlines his commitment to the project.

Kannappa is scheduled to release next month, Vishnu is hosting all his expectations on the success of the film. They are optimistic about its reception and are confident that the audience would like the mythological spectacle, even if the team is dealing with this latest challenge.
