Bollywood’s strong actress Kajol is now going to be seen in a new and scary avatar. The trailer of the mythological horror film ‘Maa’ directed by Vishal Furia has recently been released, which has run a wave of curiosity among the audience. The film will be released in theaters on 27 June 2025 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Bengali languages.

How did the trailer start?

The story of the film revolves around a mother, who takes the form of Kali herself to protect her daughter from the devilish forces. The trailer begins with a dark road, where Kajol is driving with her daughter and suddenly a body collides with her car. After this, both of them reach an old mansion, where Kajol warns his daughter not to go anywhere without asking. But in curiosity, the girl goes towards the closed part of the mansion and a mystery arises- the demon lives here.

A mixed confluence of mystery, fear and mythology can be seen in this trailer. R. in the film Madhavan will be seen playing a devilish character, who surprised everyone with his deep and creepy acting at the trailer launch.

Who with Kajol in the film?

‘Maa’ will also feature artists like Kherin Sharma, Ronit Roy, Indranil Sengupta, Jitin Gulati and Gopal Singh in ‘Maa’. The film is produced by Jio Studio and Devgan Films, which is produced by Ajay Devgan and Jyoti Deshpande.

In the poster shared by Kajol, it is written: "guard. Dear. Mother." This line shows the theme of the film well. A mother who saves and destroys it.
