Noida International Airport (NIA) has partnered with Uber, one of India’s top app-based taxi companies, to make travel smoother and more convenient for passengers.

This move supports NIA’s aim of offering modern, tech-friendly transport options from air to ground.

What This Partnership Means for Travellers

Here’s What Passengers Can Expect:

  • Real-time tracking of rides and estimated arrival times via the Uber app
  • Cashless payments for a hassle-free experience
  • Driver and vehicle details, with an in-app SOS button for safety
  • Multiple ride options including UberGo, Uber Premier, and UberXL
  • 24/7 availability of rides, day or night.

Dedicated Zones and Faster Pick-Ups

Uber will have special pick-up zones at the airport, complete with step-by-step guidance and on-ground staff to assist passengers. Exclusive parking for Uber drivers will help reduce waiting times and speed up passenger pick-ups.

Leaders Speak on the Partnership

Christoph Schnellmann, CEO of Noida International Airport, said:”The availability of app-based taxi services like Uber is a key step in ensuring that travellers have access to convenient, reliable and safe last mile transport options.”

Arnab Kumar, Director of Business Development at Uber India & South Asia, added:”Our collaboration reflects our commitment to ensuring smooth and comfortable last-mile connectivity, backed by dedicated on-ground support and an effortless booking experience via the Uber app.”

This partnership is just one part of NIA’s wider goal to become a major transport hub. Along with app-based taxis, the airport plans to offer multiple transport choices to suit different travel needs.

NIA is also working with government and transport bodies to improve access for private cars and expand public transport services.
