Amad Diallo has expressed his hope that Alejandro Garnacho remains with Manchester United for the upcoming season. Following United's Europa League final loss to Tottenham, there were rumours about Garnacho potentially leaving.

The Argentinian forward was disappointed after starting the final on the bench and only playing in the latter stages.

Reports surfaced suggesting that Ruben Amorim advised Garnacho to seek a new club. However, Amad emphasised the importance of retaining talented players like Garnacho. "Alejandro is a really good player and we need good players in the team," Amad stated. He added that he hopes to see Garnacho next season, indicating no major issues within the team.

Garnacho had an impactful season with United, featuring in 57 matches, scoring 10 goals, and providing 11 assists. Despite transfer speculations, Amorim clarified that Garnacho's presence on the Asia tour is not surprising. "He is a player of Manchester United," Amorim noted, explaining that some injured players stayed behind for recovery.

Manchester United's post-season Asia tour includes two matches, with their second game against Hong Kong scheduled for May 30. In their first match, they suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to the ASEAN All Stars. The tour aims to engage fans and provide valuable match experience for the squad.

The friendly match against Hong Kong marks the conclusion of their tour. It provides an opportunity for players to showcase their skills and for fans in Asia to connect with the team. Despite challenges faced during the tour, maintaining a strong squad remains a priority for Manchester United.
