The construction of Noida International Airport is nearing completion. In a recent development, the airport management has entered into a partnership with Uber to enhance passenger services. This agreement, signed on Thursday, will enable Uber's app-based taxi service to offer round-the-clock transportation to and from the airport. Travelers will have the convenience of booking rides through the app, making online payments, and utilizing an SOS button for emergencies, ensuring their safety during transit.
This collaboration aims to streamline travel between Noida International Airport and key locations such as Noida, Delhi, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, and IGI Airport. Previously, in December, the airport also established a partnership with Mahindra Logistics to provide e-taxi services.
Uber's service is set to improve the transportation experience for passengers traveling to and from the Delhi NCR area. Christoph Schnellmann, the CEO of Noida International Airport, expressed that their goal is to ensure a comfortable and seamless journey for passengers from their homes to the airport. The introduction of app-based taxi services like Uber will provide reliable, safe, and convenient last-mile travel options. Additionally, the airport management has signed agreements with various states to enhance connectivity, allowing direct bus services to those regions.
