Tony Hadley, 64, has taken to Instagram to share an adorable black-and-white close-up photograph of his first grandchild who was born in recent days.

Toni, one of , gave birth to a baby boy, Freddie-Floyd Hadley Huntley, on May 19 and her family have been beaming with pride ever since.

: "We're so proud and happy to welcome little Freddie to the world! He's so gorgeous! Toni and Andy and all the family are over the moon! Love, Papa Tone xx."

Fans flocked to the comments section to congratulate Tony and his family, with one writing: "Congratulations to you all. He's a beaut. Great name, my pop's and grandson's name."

Another wrote: "Many congrats, I have a Freddie ( and a Tom!)." A third suggested: "Congratulations papa Tone. Love the name Freddie any chance after your icon? Xx."

Among the dozens of other sweet comments, someone else penned: "Congratulations on being a grandad. Congratulations to all your family. Freddie is adorable."

Tony previously said he could not wait to become a grandad so his family could "continue being childlike".

Meanwhile, Toni shared a heartwarming video of her dad cradling his grandson.

The clip detailed when Freddie was born, from when Toni went into the labour ward until the moment she and her partner, Andy Huntley, brought Freddie home.

Within the montage, Tony was seen hugging his daughter moments after the birth and holding little Freddie.

Toni penned in the caption accompanying the video: "No words will ever come close to the love we feel for him. He is the most precious gift and already the centre of our world.

"We still find ourselves staring at you every day, in disbelief and pure gratitude that you're ours. Freddie-Floyd, you've made us the happiest we've ever been."

She concluded: "You are everything. Your first week earthside has already been full of love, you've met your London Grandparents, your Great Nanny, Aunties and Uncle and the world hasn't stopped falling for you since.
