Recently, some minor misunderstanding caused used buzz on internet. Indian cricketer Virat Kohli had liked a photo of actress Avneet Kaur on Instagram. People began discussing a lot, assuming it was an indication. However, Kohli explained that it was mere inadvertence and may have resulted due to the system on Instagram.
Rakul Preet Singh Speaks Up for Kohli
Actress Rakul Preet Singh discussed the issue on a podcast with Shubankar Mishra. She defended Kohli and stated that it was foolish that people were making a fuss over something so trivial.
She added that she was surprised others were so concerned about whether the like was genuine or not. Avneet Kaur received 2 million new followers after the like, but Rakul added that does not really matter. She also stated that everyone has unliked or liked things accidentally on Instagram sometimes, and it is not fair to judge celebrities for such minor issues.
Avneet said:
"Too sad yaar. That is too sad. Hum bohot vele hain (we are so jobless), that we even know that his like increased 2 million followers for her. How does it matter if he liked or didn’t or it happened by mistake. It often happens on Instagram that you unfollow friends by mistake. It’s so sad that just because he’s a celebrity, what he likes, doesn’t like turns into news."
