The ongoing rift between Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan and his former public relations manager, Vipin Kumar , has taken a serious turn, with both parties approaching the police and seeking protection for their lives.

About Unni Mukundan's complaint

According to Manorama News, Unni Mukundan has submitted a formal complaint to the Kochi police , alleging that he has been receiving death threats . The actor has also escalated the matter to the state’s Director General of Police (DGP), citing threats to both his personal safety and professional life. According to the report, Unni stated that he received a threatening phone call two weeks ago. In his complaint, Unni alleged that he has been advised to remain vigilant due to Vipin and was warned about women who might attempt to file false complaints against him.

Vipin Kumar remains resolute and has made counter-allegations against the actor. He accused Unni of both verbal and physical abuse and claimed that the actor has a “bad history” and has “misbehaved with many people.” Vipin has also challenged Unni’s claim that there is no video evidence of the alleged incident. He told the publication that the police are currently examining CCTV footage related to the case.
