Washington, [United States], Hollywood heavyweights Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro will co-star with Ariana Grande in the forthcoming comedy Meet the Parents 4.
According to Variety, Universal Pictures will distribute the movie, which is expected to open in theaters on November 25, 2026.
With this new project, Grande—who was just nominated for an Oscar for her performance in Wicked—continues her collaboration with Universal. She joins the cast of one of the most popular series in the company. The magazine claims that the first three installments of the franchise—Meet the Parents (2000), Meet the Fockers, and Little Fockers—have brought in nearly $1.13 billion globally.
Details of the plot are still being withheld. But in an interview with Variety, producer Jane Rosenthal hinted at something: “Stiller is now the same age that [De Niro] was when we did the first one, and his kids have grown up, and they have to come home and meet the parents.”
The previous movie’ co-writer and director, John Hamburg, is returning. Through Tribeca Productions, Hamburg, John Lesher, Jay Roach, Ben Stiller, and Rosenthal and De Niro will produce the film.
Ariana Grande has already shown her musical and cinematic abilities. She now has nominations from the Oscars, Golden Globes, SAG, and BAFTA in addition to her Grammy victories and many number-one hits.
