A live-action adaptation of 'The Legend of Zelda' is in the works!
The film adaptation to be made from the popular video game series has been confirmed by the respective studios of the new film's plan. Ever since the announcement came forth, netizens have taken to the social media platforms as well as fan forums to discuss who all will be the perfect cast members, especially for 'Zelda.'
The news of the live adaptation was first confirmed by the production studios all the way back in 2023. Ever since, Hunter Schafer has been majorly considered for the role. The star even expressed her interest in playing the lead role of Zelda during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. She had stated that it would be "so cool" to feature as the Hylian elf princess in the live adaptation.
She continued by saying that she loved the game and had played it ever since she was a child. She shared in the interview that “I played that video game a bunch when I was a kid. That’s such a good game."
Ever since it was announced that the movie is being made, fans have been making a list of their dream cast. Hunter has been at the top of the recommendations for playing Zelda due to her major similarities to the character.
