Actor Dhanush and director Aishwarya Rajinikanth were immensely happy and proud as their eldest son, Yathra, graduated from school recently.

After being granted divorce, the two came together to celebrate their son's graduation. Dhanush shared a couple of pictures of the family from the graduation day. Earlier, the of their two sons, Yathra and Linga.

On Saturday, Dhanush shared a photo of his son hugging his parents. One could not miss the actor and Aishwarya's reactions seeing their son in the graduation robe and hat. "Proud parents #Yathra (sic)," he captioned the post with two heart emojis. While Dhanush was sporting a crew cut and wearing a white shirt and black trousers, Aishwarya was seen wearing an off-white dress for the ceremony.

On January 17, 2022, Dhanush and Aishwarya announced that they have parted ways after 18 years of marriage. The couple filed for divorce in April 2024 and .

"18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting.. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate (sic)," Dhanush's statement about his separation read.

He continued, "Aishwarya and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please do respect our decision and give us the needed privacy to deal with this (sic)."

Though Dhanush and Aishwarya have gone different ways, they continue to co-parent their children, Yatra and Linga.

On the work front, Dhanush is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, 'Kuberaa', and is busy with the post-production work of his directorial venture, 'Idly Kadai'. Aishwarya Rajinikanth's recent project was 'Lal Salaam'. She is yet to announce her next project.
