To take more air in-
Whatever gas you pass, somehow reaches your intestines. This can happen when you take the air in the mouth. Some gas in your intestines is made from bacteria and other microbes living there. If you get too much gas, then one reason for this can be that you are taking too much air in. Some of it comes out of the form of air and some comes out through gas.

nasty habits-
Due to some of your habits, the air in your mouth gets more. For example, when chewing chewing gum or any hard candy, you swallow the air more. The habit of eating or drinking from straw also makes gas in the stomach. Keep the mouth open while sleeping-
Even though you are not taking extra air through the mouth during the day, but maybe you are doing this inadvertently while sleeping. If you open your mouth by opening your mouth at bedtime, you can swallow a lot of air overnight which can cause gas the next day.

Other reasons for the formation of gas in the stomach can also be some special food. Such as small rajma, peas, broccoli or leafy greens, whole grains, fiber foods also make gas in the stomach. According to the study, by making Rajma or Chole in water for 12 hours, they make less gas in the stomach. Sometimes no food is digested properly, due to this gas is also formed, such as someone does not suit someone dairy or gluten product and it causes gas.

Constipation or slow digestion-
If you have constipation and the food is going slowly in your intestine, then it gives more opportunity to produce gas in the stomach. When the food remains in the stomach for a long time, germs remain active for a long time and make gas in the stomach. With increasing age your digestion slows down, which can produce more gas. Artificial sweeteners or some medicines also make stomach gas.

Medical Condition-
Due to some medical condition, a lot of gas is produced in the stomach. Such as diverticulitis, ulcerative colitis, Crohns’ disease, irritable bowl syndrome, diabetes, thyroid dysfunction or intestine blockage.

There may be embarrassment due to frequent gas, but usually there is nothing to worry about. However, gas problems can also be created in some special conditions.
