A oblivious audio of Netflix’s Stranger Things Season 5 is spreading like wildfire. The teaser was posted on the streaming giant’s official Instagram Broadcast Channel, that left fans in utmost confusion.
On Saturday, Netflix will unleash the official teaser of Stranger Things Season 5 as a part of the 2025 live event. Tudum is set to feature the previews and exclusive content of shows like One Piece and Bridgerton.
Social media is going berserk over the unexpected 30-second audio. The clip featured an audio of a radio scanning sounds in overlapped pattern backed with an anonymous dialogue. Thereafter, one can hear relentless banging and stomping.
“HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO MAKE SENSE OF THIS,” a fan tweeted. “Don’t know what they’re saying, but eager to see the trailer so bad,” another added, a third stated, “31 seconds TOMORROW IS A BIG DAY.”
Makers Matt and Ross Duffer penned a 25-page mythology document for the streamer, Netflix during the course of season one. “We were like, ‘We know what’s going on in the Upside Down, more or less, but we want it to be unknowable. We want it to be mysterious,’” Matt said as quoted by Tudum. “But they were like, ‘Yeah, but can you write it down?’.
Ross during a 2022 interview with Geeked Week said, “The last remaining questions that are answered in that document, we’ve punted a couple of those to have some big reveals in Season 5,” adding, “And that’s really going to affect what Season 5 is about.”
