He later said the images were manipulated and posted without his consent, alleging that his social media accounts had been hacked.

After the public fallout, Aishwarya Rai, Tej Pratap’s estranged wife and the granddaughter of former Bihar Chief Minister Daroga Prasad Rai, alleged that her marriage was arranged by the Yadav family for political advantage. She claimed that Lalu Yadav was aware of Tej Pratap’s previous relationship before their 2018 marriage. Calling the recent events “election drama” ahead of the upcoming Bihar Assembly polls, she further accused the family of mistreating her during her short-lived marriage.
