Exciting Return of 'Wednesday' with Season 2
The beloved Netflix series 'Wednesday' is set to make a comeback with its second season, which will be divided into two parts. The first part is scheduled for release on August 6, while the second part will wrap up on September 3.
During the Tudum 2025 event, fans were treated to an exclusive six-minute preview featuring Jenna Ortega reprising her role as Wednesday Addams. Netflix shared the sneak peek with the caption: 'Make yourself uncomfortable. Here’s the first 6 minutes of Wednesday Season 2. #TUDUM.'
The preview opens with Wednesday bound in a serial killer's basement, surrounded by life-sized dolls. She quips, 'He’s under the delusion that I’m his next victim,' before elaborating on her situation. The scene then shifts to Wednesday honing her psychic abilities as she embarks on a quest to track down the Kansas City Scalper.
In a humorous moment, Wednesday navigates airport security, revealing the weapons she has packed. She eventually encounters the Kansas City Scalper, portrayed by Haley Joel Osment, who has her restrained in his basement and presents a doll resembling her.
Wednesday retorts, 'Let me show you some of my own handiwork,' leading to a chilling moment when a doll moves independently, resulting in the serial killer being attacked from both sides.

Haley Joel Osment joins the cast as a creepy doll collector, and it has been confirmed that Lady Gaga will appear as a new teacher at Nevermore Academy, further heightening anticipation for the upcoming episodes.
Directed by Tim Burton, Paco Cabezas, and Angela Robinson, the second season was filmed in Ireland and features a star-studded cast. In addition to Lady Gaga, the lineup includes Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor as regulars. Guest appearances will be made by Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, and Joonas Suotamo, alongside returning cast members Hunter Doohan, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Luis Guzmán, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Fred Armisen, Isaac Ordonez, and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo.
