A young man from Seohara was admitted to the hospital due to kidney disease. When he was tested as a precaution, the report came out to be corona positive. He died in the hospital.

A 22-year-old youth, resident of a village in Seohara area of Bijnor, died four days ago in AIIMS Rishikesh. The youth was found to be Covid positive. The youth also had other diseases.

CMO Dr. Kaushalendra Singh said that the young man who died after being admitted to Rishikesh AIIMS was a resident of a village in Seohara area of Bijnor. He was admitted to AIIMS due to increased sugar level and serious kidney problems, where he was tested for Covid as a precaution.

In the investigation, he was confirmed to be Covid positive. The concerned PHC staff has been directed to take the travel history of the youth along with other details. If any family member is found to have symptoms, he will be isolated and treated. Prima facie, the youth has died due to some other disease, however, he is Covid-19 positive in the investigation. On the other hand, the family members are crying bitterly after the death of the youth. The health department says that the last rites will be performed with full precaution.
