This time the admission process in Delhi University's School of Open Learning (DU SOL) has started in a different and special way. Admission for the academic session 2025-26 started on Sunday, June 1, and by 6 pm on the very first day, 4468 students had registered themselves. This time for the first time, the process of registration before admission in SOL has been implemented, which will continue till June 10.

Till now admission and registration in SOL used to happen together, but from this year it has been separated. According to Professor Payal Mago, Director of SOL, now first the students will have to fill the online form and give their basic information, so that they will be registered for SOL and they will get the prospectus from the university. With this, the students will be able to get the necessary information in time and they will be able to choose the course wisely.

Admission process will be done in four steps

This time the admission process has been divided into four steps, so that the students will get all the information and work one by one.

Registration - First of all, the students have to go to the SOL website and register themselves.

Creating Academic Bank of Credit (ABC) ID - This process will run between 5 and 10 June. The credits that the students will get in the future will keep getting added to this ID.

Course suggestion according to merit - The university will tell the students on the basis of their marks that for which programs they are eligible.

Final admission and document upload - After this, the students will be able to fill the examination form for their favorite course and upload the necessary documents.

The actual admission process will start after June 10

After the registration is complete, the actual admission process will start from June 10. Candidates will be given 3 days for document verification. In these three days, all students have to report with their original documents.

Admission will be given in 19 courses, BA and B.Com are the most popular

This year, admission will be given in a total of 19 undergraduate courses under SOL. These include popular courses like BA, B.Com, and BBA. Before admission, students will be given prospectus and course guidelines, so that they can take a better decision.
