Lucknow. Minister of State for Minority Welfare and Hajj has become the Chairman of Uttar Pradesh State Haj Committee (Chairman of Uttar Pradesh State Haj Committee). On Monday, members unanimously accepted a proposal to make him president. Haj Committee has a total of 13 members. All of them will be of three years. The term of the previous Haj Committee was completed in December last year.

The Minority Welfare Department (Minority Welfare Department) had issued a notification to nominate the State Haj Committee on 14 May. Among them, Minister of State for Minority Welfare Danish Azad Ansari (Minority Welfare and Haj Danish Azad Ansari), Vali Mohammad, President of Hardoi’s Nagar Panchayat Gopamau, Bareilly’s Nagar Panchayat Dhaura Tanda President Nadeemul Hasan, Muslim Dharma Vidya and Lawy expert Syed Ali Wari, Syed Ali Wari, Hafiz Edge Ahmad ( Syed Kalbe Hussain (Kabban Nawab) of Shia Samaj, social worker Muhammad Iftekhar Hussain, Kamran Khan, Junaid Ahmed Ansari, Javed Qamar Khan, Kamruddin (Jugnu), President of UP Shia Central Waqf Board and Executive Officer of Uttar Pradesh State Haj Committee.

As such, there are a total of 16 members in the State Haj Committee. Among them, MPs and MLAs are also one member each. Since MPs and MLAs in BJP are not from a single Muslim community, this post will remain vacant.

At the same time, members of the Haj Committee held a meeting on the election of the chairman in the Directorate of Minority Welfare (Minority Welfare Directorate) on Monday. In this, it was proposed to make the Minister of Haj Committee the President of the Haj Committee. It was passed by everyone with sounds. Now this committee will see the Haj arrangements.
