Tata motors sales: The pace of sales of the world veteran auto company Tata Motors remained sluggish in the month of May. According to reports, Tata Motors on Sunday recorded a year-on-year decline in vehicle sales in domestic and international markets for May 2025, which continues to perform a sluggish performance in its main domestic business (Main Domestic Business).

Sales in May 2024
According to a statement by Tata Motors, the company sold a total of 70,187 units in May 2025, which is less than 76,766 units in the same month (May 2024) last year.
Domestic market sales
The total sales fell by 10 percent in the domestic market, selling 67,429 units in May 2025, while 75,173 units sold in May 2024. Sales of commercial vehicles also declined, sold 28,147 units last month, 5 percent less than 29,691 units a year ago.
Sale of heavy vehicles
In the commercial vehicle segment, domestic sales of moderate and heavy commercial vehicles (MH& ICV), including trucks and buses, were 12,406 units in May 2025 – slightly lower than 12,987 units recorded in May 2024.
