The Premium Bond prize winners have been announced for June, including two new lucky millionaires.

are a account offered by National Savings & Investments (NS&I), one of the largest savings institutions in the UK, backed by the Treasury. The accounts don't earn interest traditionally and consistently. Instead, each bond is entered into a monthly, randomly generated prize draw. Between £25 and £50,000 can be invested in the account overall, and prizes of up to £1million can be won every month.

NS&I has revealed the full list of June's high-value winners, with two savers from the North receiving the jackpot prizes.

The first winning bond number of the million-pound prize is 103FE583469 to a bondholder based in Stockport. This winner purchased their winning Bond in November 2005 and holds £50,000 in Premium Bonds.

The second £1million jackpot winner is based in Edinburgh. Their winning Bond number is 352AC359547, and it was purchased February 2019. They hold a total of £50,000 in Premium Bonds.

Another notable winner includes a bondholder from Oxfordshire winning a staggering £50,000 from a total holding of £500. Click here for the of high-value winners.

How to check if you've won Premium Bonds prizes

People will be able to check if they've won on NS&I's prize checker app or website on Tuesday, June 3.

To check on the NS&I website, customers will need their holder's number. For the prize checker app, they'll need their NS&I number or holder's number. People can also check for any unclaimed prizes owed to them.

The annual prize fund rate is 3.8%, which funds the monthly draws for tax-free prizes. According to NS&I, the odds of any £1 bond number winning a prize are 22,000 to 1.

Currently, 2,547,426 Premium Bonds prizes worth £97,152,875 are waiting to be claimed.
