JEE Advanced 2025 Topper: The results of the JEE Advanced 2025 were declared on Monday, and at number one on the merit list is Rajit Gupta, a bright student from the IIT Delhi region, who topped the list with an All India Rank (AIR) of 1 and an impressive score of 332 out of a 360.

From Mahaveer Nagar in Kota, Rajasthan, Rajit has created history as the first local student from the coaching hub of India to rank number one in JEE Advanced. He studies at Allen Institute, Kota. He prepared for this examination for years—his preparation started from Class 6.

Rajit comes from a family that values education deeply. His mother is a Home Science professor at JDB College, while his father, an NIT Allahabad alumnus, works as a Sub-Divisional Engineer at BSNL.

A consistent academic achiever, Rajit scored 100 in Mathematics and a high score in Science in his CBSE Class 10 exams, finishing with an overall percentage of 96.8%.

Looking ahead, Rajit has set his sights on IIT Bombay, where he plans to pursue a BTech in Computer Science, the stream of his dreams.

“I had the privilege of being from Kota, so I studied here only. But, most of my batchmates are from other states only, so they were also glad that they came to Kota. I would urge students to study here, even if they can’t, they should regularly communicate with their teachers… Normally, my parents have never said no to me, because I always had a rational demands, like get me this book or something. They have always supported me," Rajit Gupta said, as reported by news agency PTI.

"It was very good. Our coaching institute and my parents helped us a lot. I tried to give my best...," he said, as reported by news agency ANI.
