Lucknow. A relief news has come out for millions of outsourced employees working in various government departments in Uttar Pradesh. The state government has taken a big step towards the formation of ‘Uttar Pradesh Outsource Service Corporation’. Now it will be implemented soon with the approval of the cabinet.
What is the purpose of the proposal?
The main objective of this proposal is to provide timely honorarium, medical facilities, social security and other benefits to outsourced personnel. The proposal states that EPF, ESI, insurance, medical, allowances etc. of employees will now be managed through the proposed corporation. However, only outsourced agencies will pay the payment of salary under the current system, but the corporation will monitor it on time.
Exploitation will be controlled
Under the new system, no agency will now be able to remove any employee from its level. This decision will also be possible only with the permission of the corporation. Third and second class recruitment will be done through the Employment Portal to bring transparency in the recruitments. Class IV is currently not included.
Outsourced personnel will get these big benefits:
Job age limit:Outsourced employees will be able to serve up to 60 years.
leisure facilities: There will be 12 casual and 10 medical holidays in a year.
Pension Scheme: After the end of service, it is proposed to give monthly pension from 1000 to 7500 rupees to the personnel.
Increase in honorarium: The minimum wage has been fixed at Rs 20 thousand, which can be more according to the nature of the post.
Free treatment: Employees and their family members will be provided free treatment facilities at the hospitals and investigation centers of the State Employees Insurance Corporation.
Maternity leave:Female employees working on outsourcing will also be provided with maternity leave. Female employees will be given six months i.e. 180 days maternity leave if two children are born.
Insurance protection up to Rs 30 lakh:On death in the accident, the family members of the worker will get assistance of up to Rs 30 lakh. No premium will have to be paid for this.
