Binita Chetry's Remarkable Achievement

Nine-year-old Binita Chetry from Assam has won hearts globally by clinching the third position in the finals of ‘Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) 2025’. Her performance received a standing ovation from the audience, along with a heartfelt congratulatory message from Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Chief Minister of Assam.


The Chief Minister took to his official X account to share a clip from the BGT finale, showcasing Binita performing alongside other finalists, including magician Harry Moulding and the dance group The Blackouts. In his post, CM Sarma expressed pride in Binita’s accomplishment, highlighting it as a significant moment for Assam.


He wrote, “Dancing her way to glory. Congratulations to our very own #BinitaChetry for securing the 3rd position at #BGTFinal. Her performances have captivated audiences from the Brahmaputra to the Thames, making us all proud. I wish her the best in her future endeavors.”


Reflecting on her experience, the young dancer expressed her joy, stating, “I am happy and proud of myself; it’s the best experience.” The emotional moment was met with enthusiastic applause from the crowd, to which Binita responded with a gesture of gratitude.
