Mumbai: A tragic incident unfolded at R City Mall in Ghatkopar West earlier today, where a 38-year-old man, identified as Deepak Joshi, reportedly ended his life by jumping from the third floor of the mall. ParkSite police have registered a accidental death report (ADR) and are investigating further.

According to preliminary information from the police, the incident occurred in the afternoon, sending shockwaves among shoppers and staff present at the mall. Deepak Joshi had been suffering from mental stress for some time. Due to this stress, he arrived at RCT Mall on Monday afternoon.

After walking in the mall for some time, he went to the third floor and jumped. He was severely injured in the fall. Emergency services were immediately alerted.

Upon receiving information about the incident, Parksite police rushed to the spot and immediately took Joshi to a nearby hospital for treatment. However, doctors examined him and declared him brought dead.

Meanwhile, the exact reason for Joshi's suicide is still unclear, and the police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
