JEE Advanced Result 2025: The result of JEE Advanced 2025, conducted for admission to the prestigious engineering institute IIT, has been released today. Candidates can check their scorecard by visiting the official website jeeadv.ac.in. Also, the final answer key has been released. A total of more than 1 lakh 90 thousand students had registered for the exam. The exam was of a total of 360 marks, in which both Paper-1 and Paper-2 were of 180-180 marks.

JEE Advanced 2025 Cutoff

The cutoff of JEE Advanced 2025 has also been released in percentage form so that it is easy for the candidates to understand how much percentage of the total marks they were required to score. This year the minimum cutoff for the Common Rank List (CRL) has been 20.56%. At the same time, this cutoff has been fixed at 18.50% for the OBC-NCL and General EWS categories. This minimum qualifying percentage for SC and ST category candidates was 10.28%. Based on this cutoff, candidates can evaluate their eligibility and prepare to participate in the further counseling process.

The JEE Advanced exam was held on 18 May
This year JEE Advanced exam was conducted on 18 May in two shifts. This exam was conducted at a total of 224 examination centers including 222 cities of the country as well as Kathmandu and Dubai. JEE Advanced 2025 was organized by IIT Kanpur this time.

Counseling will be done in six phases.
This year the admission process will be conducted in 23 IITs, 32 NITs, 26 Triple ITs, and 47 GFTI institutes across the country through JoSAA Counseling 2025. This entire process will be completed in online mode. Counseling will be conducted in a total of six phases from June 3 to July 28.

To participate in this, candidates will have to register online and fill out college choices by visiting the official website of JoSAA from June 3 to June 12 at 5 pm. The first phase seat allotment list will be released on June 14. Candidates who will be allotted seats in the first round will have to confirm their seats by reporting online by June 19 and paying the seat acceptance fee.

After this, in the remaining phases of counseling, the seat allotment of the second round will be released on June 21, the third round on June 28, the fourth round on July 4, the fifth round on July 10, and the final sixth round on July 16.

20 percent of girls' seats in IIT and NIT

Girls will get admission on 20 percent additional seats in IIT and NIT. There is no reduction in other reserved seats due to these additional seats. Its purpose is to connect daughters with the premium engineering institutes of the country.
