JEE Advanced result has come, now it is the turn of JoSaa i.e. Joint Seat Allocation Authority counseling. The schedule for this has already been released by JoSAA. This is a centralized counseling process for admission in the big engineering colleges of the country, for which the process of locking the seat will start today, June 3.
This counseling process, which will be conducted in 5 rounds, can be completed on the official website of JoSAA. Only those candidates who have passed JEE Main or JEE Advanced can participate in this counseling. These students will be able to start applying from June 3. Seat allotment will be done from June 14.
There will be a sixth-round for admission to the IIT.
The counseling process of JoSAA will be conducted in 5 rounds, in which the sixth round will be only for IIT. When the counseling round of JoSAA is completed, after that an extra counseling round will be organized for NIT+.
Seat allotment will be done after mock allocation.
The fee has to be deposited by June 18
If the student faces any kind of problem, then he will be able to get the answer to his questions by June 20, the first round of counseling will also be till June 18, this will also be the date for depositing the fee. If any student faces any problem in depositing the fee, then he will be able to deposit the fee till June 19. The second round of seat allocation will be from June 21 and the last date for depositing the fee will be June 25. Similarly, the third round will start on June 28, the fee for which can be deposited till July 2.
Seats are allotted in these institutes.
JoSAA counseling is the only way to allow BTech seats in top engineering institutes including the Indian Institute of Technology i.e. IIT, National Institute of Technology i.e. NIT, Indian Institute of Information Technology i.e. IIIT, and other government-funded technical institutes (GFTI).
