Toyota Kirloskar Motor has announced that the joint sales of its two major SUV -Fortuner and Legender have crossed the 3 lakh units. This achievement shows the immense popularity of these two trains and their strong position in the segment.
The Toyota Fortuner, first launched in 2009, has identified as a strong and reliable SUV in India. Its strong 2.8-liter diesel engine, elevated ground clearance and rough-tuff design enable it to move from city roads to difficult areas. Its style and driving position gives customers a premium feel.
Toyota Legender, launched in 2021, is a premium version of Fortuner. It has advance features such as dual-tone exterior, JBL audio system, wireless charging and sequential LED turn indicators. It attracts customers who want luxury as well as performance.

At the same time, only 2.8L diesel engine is found in the leasender, which generates power of 204PS and 420/500Nm torque. Both SUVs provide 4 × 2 and 4 × 4 driving options.
Fortuner prices in India start from ₹ 33.78 lakh to ₹ 51.94 lakh (ex-showroom). Legender prices fall into a slightly more premium category.
