After the result of JEE Advanced 2025 is out, JoSAA counseling will start today. Which candidates will be able to apply with the help of the steps given here.

The result of JEE Advanced 2025 has been released and now the process of admission in IIT is also going to start. For the students who have passed this exam, the next big step is JoSAA counseling. The Joint Seat Allotment Authority (JoSAA) will start the counseling process from 5 pm today i.e. on June 3, 2025.

Through JoSAA counseling, admission will be given in IITs, NITs, IIITs and other government engineering institutes across the country. The last date for registration and choice of college / course for counseling is June 12, 2025. In such a situation, candidates who want to participate in counseling, it is necessary to apply on time.

Who can apply?

All the candidates who pass JEE Advanced 2025 can participate in JoSAA counseling. Through this, they can get admission in prestigious institutions like IIT, NIT, IIIT and GFTI.

When will the mock seat allotment happen?

The first mock seat allotment list will come on 9 June 2025.

The second mock list will be released on 11 June 2025.

Which documents will be required?

Class 10th and 12th mark sheet and certificate

JEE Main or Advanced admit card
Category or PWD certificate (if applicable)
Medical certificate
Bank details (if refund is to be taken)
Passport or OCI/PIO card (if applicable)

How much fee will have to be paid?

The partial admission fee for SC, ST and Divyang category is 20,000.

This fee has been fixed at 45,000 for General, OBC-NCL and EWS category.

Counselling registration starts: 3 June 2025 (from 5 pm)

Last date: 12 June 2025

Mock allotment: on 9 and 11 June

How to apply for JoSAA counselling?

First go to josaa.nic.in.

Click on the “JoSAA Counselling 2025 Registration” link given on the homepage.

Log in by entering your JEE Main or JEE Advanced roll number and password.

Now choose your preferred college and course and set them according to priority.

After filling all the information, submit the form and download a copy of it.
