Hero MotoCorp Ki electric brand Vida is once again in the headlines. The company is going to launch its new and affordable electric scooter VIDA VX2 on 1 July 2025. It is believed that this scooter will be positioned below the current Vida V2 lineup and its price will also be very competitive.
There was speculation about the showcased Vida Z at Auto Expo 2025 whether this new VX2 scooter would be the same or not. Now spy shots have put a halt on these speculations. It is clear from the pictures revealed that VX2 is actually a rebaz version of Vida Z, which will be introduced at a lower price. Its units are seen in the showroom without any cover, which has received information about its design and features.

The Vida VX2 is seen in the Matte Yellow Finnish and also has VX2 and Plus badging on its side panel, which confirms its multiple variants. It is expected that VX2 will also come in Lite, Plus and Pro variants. Comparing Vida V2 prices start from ₹ 74,000 to ₹ 1,15,300, while the price of VX2 can start at ₹ 65,000 (ex-showroom).
It provides premium features such as LED projector headlights, LED taillights, sequential indicators, 12-inch dual tone alloy wheels and front disc brakes. However, the VX2 has a physical hole, and a small instrument cluster, which shows a slightly less premium than the V2 Lite.
The Vida VX2 will not have a touchscreen display, while in V2 it also comes standard in base variants. Body panels are also very simple. It has a single piece seat, which is different from the split seat. The information of the powertrain has not been revealed yet, but it is likely that it will use removable batteries ranging from 2.2 kwh to 3.9 kwh. The IDC range can go up to 165 km.
