Hours before the IPL 2025 final match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS), a short video of ICC Chairman Jay Shah arriving at the RCB team hotel in Ahmedabad went viral on social media site X (formerly Twitter).
Jay Shah did not address the media or release any statements. But his low-key visit was enough to make headlines. Fans wasted no time to start sharing memes and cracking jokes online. RCB vs PBKS Final is a Big Deal
The excitement for this final was already sky-high. Neither Punjab Kings nor Royal Challengers Bengaluru has ever lifted the IPL trophy. RCB made it to the final three times previously (2009, 2011, and 2016) but failed every time. Punjab Kings return to the final after 11 years.
