Famous TV couple Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Banerjee recently faced an unsettling incident at their home. Gurmeet himself took to Instagram to share that a new domestic help had run away with some of their belongings. Fortunately, most of the stolen items were recovered soon after. Along with sharing the incident, Gurmeet also advised fans to carefully verify anyone they employ in their homes.

On Instagram, Gurmeet wrote, “Today, our house worker ran away with some stuff. Thankfully, we always verify every staff member who comes to work, so if anything goes wrong, we can take immediate action.” He added, “I’m grateful I was home at the time and that my children were safe in their rooms. With quick action and a few phone calls, we managed to recover most of the stolen items. Most importantly, we are all safe.”

Important Advice for Fans

Gurmeet called the theft both a stroke of bad luck and a valuable lesson. He urged his followers to always be cautious and to verify the background of every person they hire for household work.
