Blackwall Tunnel road closed LIVE: Crash shuts down major road sparking huge delays Newspoint  |  04/06/2025 20:39:15

The A102 Blackwall Tunnel Approach Northbound is closed after a crash. Drivers are being warned of "long delays".

The crash reportedly took place at around 1.30am on Wednesday morning. The road is now shut between the A2 (Sun In The Sands Roundabout, Blackheath) to the A206 (Woolwich Road Flyover, Greenwich).

According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, congestion is building in the area and motorists should leave extra time for their journeys. Local bus services are also being diverted around the closure.
