The much-loved show Anupamaa has redefined the way audiences connect with stories of strength, resilience, and self-discovery . At the heart of it all is Rupali Ganguly , who brings Anupama to life with grace and authenticity. Off-screen too, Rupali’s journey is deeply rooted in love, family, and purpose. She often speaks fondly of her world, her husband Ashwin and her son Rudransh. who have been her biggest cheerleaders. Their unwavering support allowed her to enjoy the irreplaceable joy of motherhood and later, gave her the strength to return to the screen, stronger and more inspired.
Rupali shared, "For a mother, her children and family always come first as did it with me… The elusive joy of becoming a mother was so overwhelming that for me it was imperative that I enjoy every bit of the growing-up years and soak in the joy of motherhood through Rudransh… That was my world, my family and I was happy and satiated till Anupamaa came along and challenged the actor in me… It is the husband and the family who give you the wings for your dreams… The men in my life Ashwin, Rudransh have been instrumental in me having the courage to bring Rajanji’s vision to screen… As I always say Anupama is his journey and I’m blessed that he has chosen me to walk on her path."
She further added, "These men have given me the push to soar as Anupama and now as I take her forward on a new journey to our karambhoomi and my janambhoomi Mumbai… it becomes even more special. This is a journey of finding herself, her love for herself… perhaps losing her selflessness but yet not becoming selfish… feeling the ending of a path yet not losing her identity… I’m overjoyed and thoroughly excited to read and travel through this new chapter with Anupama where she perhaps will find what she has been looking for… herself…"
