Chelsea are expected to explore a move for a striker even after the arrival of Liam Delap with Eintracht Frankfurt's Hugo Ekitike one option.

Following their top-five Premier League finish and thus Champions League qualification, Delap opted for a move to Stamford Bridge over Manchester United from Ipswich Town with his medical completed on Monday and £30million paid for his services.

Once confirmation has arrived, full focus will almost certainly move onto wrapping up other additions in time for the Club World Cup, but it certainly looks as though that priority switch has already been made.
