Maharashtra FYJC Merit List 2025: The First Provisional General Merit List for FYJC admissions 2025 will be published by the Maharashtra School Education Board today, June 5, after the Round 1 registration process closes at 2 PM. Students can verify their merit status on the official website, mahafyjcadmissions.in. To view the list, candidates need to log in with their registered credentials and proceed to the section for the merit list.

After the release of the provisional list, students will have the chance to object or seek corrections. This period will run till June 7. The final merit list will be released on June 8, 2025, once all objections and required corrections have been resolved.

As of June 2, over 10.85 lakh students have registered for admissions into FYJC in Maharashtra. These candidates are vying for around 20.43 lakh seats in 9,281 junior colleges in the state. The centralized admission process covers key divisions like Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. However, it's important to note that the Konkan division is excluded from this centralized process.

About distribution according to streams, there are 8.52 lakh seats available in the Science stream, 5.40 lakh in Commerce, and 6.50 lakh in Arts. The numbers clearly show a wide distribution of opportunities for students with different academic interests.

After the publication of the merit list, chosen candidates have to undertake online document verification, payment of fees, and uploading of undertaking forms to seal their admission. Moreover, students applying under management or reserved quotas will undergo a zero round of seat allotment, which is dedicated to minority and management quota admissions.
