Today's the day thelaunches in the UK, as retailers including Amazon, Currys, Very and EE refresh their stock for gamers who missed out in last month's pre-sale. Amid the flurry of deals we've found a way for shoppers to down to only £22 per month.

EE is offering the Nintendo Switch 2 on a monthly cost-splitting plan, a stark contrast from its £429.99 bundle upfront cost, shoppers will be able to get it for. And unlike forking out hundreds upfront today, it only comes with an upfront cost of £20.

The option is only available to split on the Switch 2 Mario Kart: World bundle, not by itself. All in shoppers will pay £20 when they buy the bundle upfront and lock in to 24 monthly payments of £22 for the plan, coming to £548 together.

There's no secret that it comes to more than the likes ofand upfront prices, however it's an option for those who don't want to fork out the full price all at once. Another key thing shoppers need to know is that the plan is fixed, there's no wiggle room (without a fee) if left before the term ends.

In terms of delivery will take '1-3 working days' to arrive from the date of order, however shoppers are being urged to go fast as some consoles are already out of stock. The Mario Kart: World and console bundle is still available but 'selling fast'. However, EE's Switch 2 console has sold out.

Nintendo Switch 2 stock updates

From 6am today Nintendo's own store has been showing as out of stock for the console and now Very has joined suit. The consoles are certainly in demand and multiple sites have the live banner which says 'selling fast'.

Retailer is offering the Console and Mario Kart: World bundle too and shows the sheer demand on its site. As '2045 people are seeing this product' on their website.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is in high demand thanks to its bigger screen, boosted performance and speed offering gamers a better user experience than the previous console. A welcome new feature is its Joy-Con controllers, arguably very distinctive to Switch models - these now come with built-in magnets to make them easier to remove.

However compared to the previous £259.99 Switch 1 the newer Switch 2 does have a downside...its price. Shoppers are now paying £395.99 for the console, a huge price jump for the added features, not to mention the updated games come with an extra cost too.
