As we know that the summer holidays have already commenced in almost all the schools in the plains of North India.

During this time, most people plan to travel to different parts of the country.

Considering the same, the Indian Railways has announced many special trains to ensure that people do not face inconvenience in train travel during the holidays.

Under the same initiative, Northern Railways has announced special trains including train number 02270 Lucknow to Chhapra Vande Bharat Special Train and train number 02269 Chhapra to Lucknow Vande Bharat Special Train.

Recently, Northern Railway announced their plans to operate a special Vande Bharat Express between Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, and Chhapra which is located in Bihar while enhancing the convenience to passengers along this route.

Special Lucknow-Chhapra Vande Bharat Express  Schedule

Under this development, the Train numbers 02270 and 02269 will be operating for six days a week, except for Tuesdays.

The train number 02270 will operate from Lucknow to Chhapra between March 27 and April 26, running six days a week except Tuesdays, completing a total of 27 trips as per the information provided by the Northern Railway.

On the other hand, the train number 02269 will run from Chhapra to Lucknow during the same period and will be completing 27 trips.

During its journey, this special Vande Bharat Express will halt at Sultanpur Junction, Varanasi Junction, Ghazipur City, and Suremanpur stations along the route.

Lucknow-Chhapra Vande Bharat Express Train timing & Ticket Price

This train will depart from Lucknow Junction at 14:15 pm and arrive at Chhapra Junction at 21:30 pm as mentioned in the timetable released by Northern Railway.

On the return, this train will leave Chhapra Junction at 23:00 pm and reach Lucknow at 06:30 am.

When it comes to the Lucknow-Chhapra Vande Bharat Express, as usual for all the Vande Bharat trains, this train will also have two types of seating arrangements including – AC Chair Car and Executive Chair Car.

If you are wondering about the fare then the fare for travelling between Lucknow to Chhapra on an AC Chair Car is Rs 1,780.

Please note here that individuals will have to pay Rs 3,125 for travelling on an Executive AC Chair Car, according to IRCTC.
