are reportedly looking to add a former Juventus man to their backroom staff, as Andrea Berta looks to add muscle to his team of transfer executives. Berta joined Arsenal earlier this year as the club's new sporting director, replacing the departing Edu in March 2025.

Berta's appointment has come ahead of a major transfer window as far as Arsenal are concerned, given the Gunners have finished second in each of the previous two Premier League campaigns. Turning second spot into first is something Mikel Arteta and co. will be looking to do next season, with Arsenal starting to put thier plans into place.

As per , Matteo Tognozzi, who has previously worked as the head of scouting at Juventus, is being eyed up by the north London outfit. Romano has reported Arsenal are in 'advanced talks' to bring the transfer guru to the Emirates Stadium, with Tognozzi said to have an eye for scouting, talent recognition and player development.

It would represent a big coup for Arsenal if they were able to bag Tognozzi's services, with the bigwig having been credited to recognising the talents of Dean Huijsen, Radu Dragusin and Matias Soule in the past. Tognozzi would be ushered in to work alongside Berta and assist Arsenal's endeavours in the transfer market.

Arsenal haven't been as active in the early stages of the transfer window compared to their Premier League rivals, with even Martin Zubimendi, who had looked like a dead cert signing for the Gunners, having . While on international duty with Spain, the midfielder was asked about his future, to which he replied: "Of course there are options, but it's true that it seems like it's going to be a different, long summer, and I don't know how it will end.

"Thinking about it right now is not my top priority. I'm here with the national team, which I think is already quite demanding, and if I have to say something, then I will."
