Mumbai: Colleges affiliated with the University of Mumbai on Thursday released their third merit lists for first-year undergraduate programmes.

St. Xavier’s College has released its third merit list cut-off percentages for the Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme (Aided). For the General category, candidates from the Maharashtra State Board (HSC Arts) require 87.83%, while those from other boards must achieve 97.00%. For Christian candidates, the cut-off is 66.33% for HSC Arts and 65.83% for other boards.

The Special category cut-off stands at 90.33%. Admissions are subject to the availability of subject combinations, as noted by the college. St. Xavier’s, known for its academic excellence, continues to attract top talent, particularly for courses like BMS and BMM, which require the Xavier’s Entrance Test (XET).

K.P.B. Hinduja College of Commerce also announced cut-offs for its self-financed courses. The Bachelor of Accounting and Finance (FYBAF) requires a cut-off of 86.00%, up from 83.33% last year, while the Bachelor of Financial Markets (FYBFM) also stands at 86.00%, a slight increase from 85.67%. The Bachelor of Banking and Insurance (FYBBI) has a cut-off of 62.17%. For the Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia and Mass Communication (FYBAMMC), the Commerce stream demands 72.00%, a rise from 61.00%, and the Arts stream is set at 60.50%.

Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College has released third merit lists for several programmes, identifying selected candidates across various streams. For the Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media (BACM) English Medium, 3 candidates have been selected: Pranjal Pravin Patil, Riya Sanjay Chavan, and Riddhi Rupesh Wagh.

The FYBSc Biotechnology programme lists five selected candidates: Anushka Anil Kadam, Shreya Sunil Patil, Aryan Rajesh Sharma, Vedika Mahesh Pawar, and Rohit Sanjay Desai. For FYBA Outsider (English Medium), two candidates were selected: Sneha Anil More and Priya Mahesh Deshmukh.

The FYBSc Computer Science programme includes four selected candidates: Rohan Vijay Patil, Neha Sanjay Kulkarni, Aditya Ramesh Jadhav, and Kavya Sunil More. Lastly, the FYBSc Aided programme lists 6 selected candidates: Sanya Rajesh Gupta, Omkar Anil Shinde, Komal Sunil Pawar, Vikram Rajesh Thakur, Anjali Mahesh Sawant, and Siddharth Anil Kadam.

G.N. Khalsa College has also published its third merit list for various undergraduate programmes with 69.83% being the cutoff for Minority, SC, Buddhist. 69.66% is the cutoff for Minority, Open, Christian and General, Open, Hindu.
